The Beauty in the Beast!

As I sit along the side of the riverbanks at Sycamore Cove, I can clearly see a simple fact of life. Which is, you cannot live in a world with just positives. You have to have the negatives right along with it, to think otherwise is delusional. I spread positive words and whatnot and I want everyone to know they can control their thoughts, that’s no bullshit! People should know that they can choose to look at the positives in any situation. In the depths of it all, life is a balance between the two, positive and negative.

I chose to take the day off work. I chose to do that because I was feeling really anxious and could not explain why to anyone and the truth is, I don’t know why I was feeling that way! It kind of feels like my life has become unbalanced as if I kept ignoring the negatives, and in order to correct it, I needed to get away from it all.

Sitting here overlooking the water I am able to see all God’s creations go about their normal lives and it brings everything into perspective. When viewing the world from the outside looking in, I can see the beauty in the beast of it all. The birds chirping, ducks quacking, the deer sneaking through the trees as gunshots ring my ears from a distance. An organized chaos in a rapidly changing, but yet, never changing world. We will always be chasing our dreams and aspirations. We will always be looking for our next meal. We will always have someone watching from afar. Someone pulling our strings. You see, we are all heading in one direction and that direction is death. That’s when all our dreams and aspirations end. All our thoughts subside and disappear and nothing in this world will matter anymore, to us anyway, so, why not leave something for someone else to follow, a guide if you will!

We can then guide the future of this world so that others don’t have to go through all the trouble to figure it out! I know there will be struggles but we can help ease the pain that comes with it. Thanks to technology today we can live forever through it. Everything is easier to share, our lives included. That means pain and the ugliness you suffer from or put out on others will live forever too. No positives without the negatives, remember? No light without the dark. No hot without cold, no happiness without sadness. We have to experience it all to know what we’ll truly appreciate. We have to have the heartaches and the tears to have love and to have had love. We have to experience loneliness so we’ll find someone to care for. We have to have air to breath and the best part about that is, it’s free, like all the best things in life.

Experiencing the anxiety that I felt this morning was a wake-up call. I had to understand that life, no matter what, will go on. Life will go on no matter what I’m doing, but as long as I’m doing what I love, happiness has no choice but to knock at my door. When it knocks I will surely answer it with open arms and I’ll also be leaving all the negative energy on the doorstep for the wind to blow it away. Through the pain and struggles emerges the beauty in the beast!
