We are born with two ears, one mouth. Which means we need to listen more than we speak!

That pretty much sums it up. Shut up and listen! When you are able to sit back and listen to someone else, just to let them be heard, they'll love you for it. Let them say whatever it is they want to say, no judgments, no interrupting. Most people listen with the intent to reply. Don't. Just listen. It'll make them feel better about themselves, and about you!

The bible says in Proverbs 18:2 that a fool finds no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions. I am no fool, are you? James 1:19 let every person be quick to listen and slow to speak. Proverbs 17:28 even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise when he closes his mouth he is deemed intelligent. Are you an intelligent fool? Who cares! Shut up and listen. Sometimes that's all that is needed. To be heard. Why the hell do you think I'm writing this? I need to hear it! Yeah, me! Because I write these little things not just for you but for myself. To keep teaching myself what I already know. It's in my motto.

My motto:

To live life with simplicity
To empower my friends, family and myself with knowledge known and unknown
To motivate a mind, to motivate a mind.

The motto was inspired by Tupac. He once said that he may not be the one to change the world but help spark the mind that would. I'm not saying I am the mind. All I'm doing here is trying to carry on the spark! (did you hear about 2pac song hail mary lyrics being printed for a church service? Read about it http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/26/asia/tupac-hail-mary-christmas-trnd/)

All that aside. I thought the title Shutup and Listen would be funny for a little post. I was right about that. Although the post seemed to become very straight forward and not really any humor in it at all. I started quoting bible verses like I was some kind of preacher. Seems legit, though, the scriptures. Here is another to go out with...Proverbs 15:1 a soft answer turns away wrath, a harsh word stirs up anger!

Be water my friend! Ha. Man, I wish I could have made this a funny post as I planned but you get what you get! Sometimes what you plan doesn't work out and for better or worse, we can make the best of it. You know the saying, things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out!
