Let’s Go Fishing

Here’s something I wrote on August 16th, 2016,

I don’t like sports. Is fishing a sport? I don’t like fishing either. I do like the calmness of it, though. It gives you time to think to explore your mind. I think people spend too much time trying to win that they lose sight of the game. I taught my daughter that it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about playing the game. Although, winning is good, right? Especially at the Casino! Now, that’s what I consider fishing.undefined

If people would just sit back and let the kids play the game instead of trying to kill them in order to win, kids wouldn’t be so stressed out all the time. They’d be happier and a happy kid is a good kid. If the kids focused more on playing I think I would enjoy the game more. I would want to attend more games, more often. Let them have fun. Life is too short to be serious all the time. We all need to enjoy ourselves while we are young, because time flies, especially these days with everything grabbing our attention.

Anyhow, I took the family fishing today in hopes Keisha, my daughter, would catch something. She still has yet to catch anything. When she does, it’s going to be great!

I would like to add that Keish still to this day, hasn’t caught anything while fishing. I can’t wait until the day she catches the biggest fish in the world because I want to see her reaction and her pulling the beast off the line. I know the happiness she’ll feel once that time comes and I love it when she is happy. Happiness brings out your true colors. Your rainbow shines and that’s the moments you should remember for a lifetime.

Oh, you want to read more about fishing? Here you go. Since I’m all about being positive I think you could fish for positive situations in your life. You could catch other people being optimistic and practice positive reinforcement with them. You could hit the Casino and drop a 20 fishing for a 100. Or, you could simply put on your fishing cap and grab a pole and spend some time thinking out by the water. A clear mind is a calm mind and being calm will help you to think correctly when the time is needed, so fishing for new ideas wouldn’t be a problem.

Moral of the story is life is too short to be so serious all the time. You could give someone a fish and feed them for a day or you could teach them to fish and feed him for a lifetime. You can make a man fisher of men so they can carry on spreading the optimism we all want in our lives. Look to save someone and they’ll look to save someone else. Live life with simplicity, to empower friends, family and yourself with knowledge known and unknown, to motivate a mind to motivate a mind. Keep fishing…
